GM Canada Q3 Sales Growth Year-Over-Year, Driven by SUV lineup

Oshawa, Ont. (October 1, 2025) – Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac dealers delivered 76,021 vehicles in the third quarter of 2025, an increase of 0.2 per cent over third quarter 2024 sales. Growth was led by strong demand for GMs small, compact, and midsize SUVs.

“Canadian drivers are choosing GM for our breadth of choice across every segment,” said Shane Peever, vice president, vehicle sales, service, and marketing at GM Canada. “The Buick Envision, Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain and Cadillac OPTIQ continue to win new customers. As drivers’ needs evolve, we’re focused on delivering Canada’s most diverse lineup, from gas-powered vehicles to EV options across Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC.”

2025 Q3 Total Sales Highlights:

  • Buick sales up 23.3 per cent - led by Encore GX, Envista, Envision and Enclave
  • GMC sales up 2.4 per cent - led by Acadia
  • Cadillac EV sales up 91.2 per cent - led by OPTIQ, VISTIQ and ESCALADE IQ
  • Small SUV sales up 21.5 per cent - driven by Buick Envista and Chevrolet Trax
