General Motors will show off its electric vehicle portfolio at Everything Electric, a sprawling home energy and EV event, coming to Vancouver, B.C., for three days starting September 5.

This version of the show, to be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, follows recent stops in Sydney and London. GM will have 11 electric vehicles on display, with a dozen EVs available for test drives on an outdoor track.

"We’re thrilled to showcase our electric portfolio in Vancouver, one of the country's top EV markets," said GM Canada President Kristian Aquilina. "As Canada’s EV sales leader, this event is also an opportunity to connect with the customers who are helping drive innovation and hear what they're looking for next."

GM became Canada’s largest seller of EVs earlier this year, with 23% market share in the first half, up from 8% a year earlier1.

GM’s strong growth in the Canadian market has been driven by growing demand for the Chevrolet Equinox EV, as well as increasing sales of the Cadillac OPTIQ and LYRIQ. As of the first half of 2025, Cadillac is  the leading seller of luxury EV SUVs in Canada2. Remarkably, 64% of Cadillac buyers year-to-date are entirely new to the brand - clear evidence that the portfolio is expanding its reach.

“We know Canadian drivers are looking for new options – and we offer more EV choices than any other manufacturer,” Aquilina added. “We are selling 13 EV nameplates in Canada, from Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC. We have an EV for virtually every customer and every wallet.”

Aquilina also noted that GM Canada is playing a key role in the development of GM’s vehicle technology portfolio, with over 1,000 engineers working on EVs, autonomous vehicles, software, and other projects.

GM vehicles on display at Everything Electric will include the Cadillac ESCALADE IQ, OPTIQ, LYRIQ, and VISTIQ; the Chevrolet Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV and the BrightDrop all-electric van; and the GMC Sierra EV, Hummer EV SUV, and Hummer EV pick-up truck.
